The team at EnvironSafe Limited has successfully introduced the AI Soil Testing mobile application to cocoa farmers in Assin Fosu, situated within the Assin Fosu Municipal in the Central Region and the Ejura-Sekyedumase Municipal in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

This innovative mobile application leverages artificial intelligence to provide an interactive platform for identifying soil textural classes, such as Sandy, Loamy, Clay, and Sandy Loamy, using a mobile camera. Additionally, the advanced features of the SoilDigiSERVE application assist farmers in determining the key nutrients present in the soil, specifically nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K). Farmers can now utilize this mobile application to assess their soil health and receive immediate results on-site.

The SoilDigiSERVE mobile application is designed for flexibility, making it suitable and practical for use across diverse landscapes in Ghana. It facilitates the prediction of key soil nutrients and textural classification with an impressive accuracy rate of 95-98%. This innovative tool can be utilized in various regions, including the Sudan savannah, Guinea savannah, Forest Savannah Transitional Zone, Semi-Deciduous Forest, High Rainforest, and Coastal Savannah, as it takes into account the different soil types during the modeling process. SoilDigiSERVE offers two distinct interfaces: one for basic identification of textural soil classes and another for advanced predictions of soil nutritional content.
